Haiti’s Ambassador Sends Message to ECOARTE Program in Moa
By Felix Ramon Lobaina / redaccion@ahora.cu / Monday, 13 September 2010 13:49

Jean Victor Geneus, extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Haiti in Cuba, sent a letter to MSc. Melaneo Maden Betancourt, general coordinator of the Community Cultural Center of Environmental Education of the Cubaniquel company, in Moa –Holguin province.

The missive highlights that he would send more than thirty letters written by Haitian children, adolescents and youths that belong to the Jose Marti Club in the cities of Cape Haitian and Gonaives.

The document reads that they received with much joy these missives, which encourage them to go on with the letters’ exchange with Cuban children, what is just beginning.

"The Cubaniquel Program is very beautiful and useful mainly because it’s directed to the Haitian children that have suffered so much and still suffer the consequences of the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti last January 12, 2010," the message by the Caribbean Ambassador in Havana highlights.

"On behalf of the Haitian children that also receive the solidarity from Cuban children, and on my own, we reiterate you our gratefulness for all what you are doing, and to you Mr. Melaneo Maden, I say again how much we admire you and your program," reads the letter sent to the ECOARTE circle in Moa by the diplomat. / Radio Angulo
