The 11th Annual
New Bostonian Community Day will take place on
September 23, 2010 at Boston City Hall, from
11:00am to 2:30pm. This event has become one
of Boston’s most visible celebrations of
immigrants and multiculturalism.
...Mayor
Thomas M. Menino, welcome the newcomers to the
city of Boston, promising that they would have
the same opportunities as people before them.
“Diversity is one of our greatest strengths,
and if we work together, we will build a
stronger and better Boston,” He said.
To celebrate our New Bostonians Community
Day’s 11th anniversary, the Mayor’s Office
of New Bostonians will showcase: A Flag Parade
representing the diversity of our communities,
Free Immigration advice from Attorneys,
multilingual tours of City Hall, College &
Trade Schools fair, Resource and Art tables,
Multicultural Music Presentation and a
delicious lunch.
